Our Story

As locals who grew up on this beautiful coast, we've (Mark and Meagan) always known this is where we belong. For those of you we haven’t met yet, here’s a little bit about us!

In 2017, we launched Westward Waves Surf School —you may have spotted our old, converted horse box parked near the sea. In the evening you would often find us up at Livit campsite, sharing pizzas with our friends and hosting surf lessons for their guests. When the chance came to take over the campsite, it felt like the perfect fit. After all, our love for the ocean and the campsite already went hand in hand!

We’re passionate surfers, coast path explorers, and swimmers, so whether you’re looking for the best surf spot, a peaceful beach to spend the day, or a scenic hike for breathtaking views, we’ve got plenty of recommendations. We’ve lived this life for years, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
